I think this will be the successor to the original Land Rover Defender. In fact, the CEO of the company behind it tried to buy the Defender name from Land Rover but they of course had other plans for it. So he built Ineos (the company) so that he could build Grenadier (the line of vehicles). Funny story - it was named after the Grenadier pub where the whole plan was conceived.
As Land Rover takes Defender 2020 in a new direction and Rivian and Bollinger work on bringing electric 4WDs to the market, it will be very interesting to see how Ineos does with the Grenadier and where it will sit pricing wise in the market.
